About Me
My path to becoming a therapist certainly wasn’t linear, and I’m grateful for that! I started as a research assistant in a social-cognitive psychology lab, eventually becoming an analyst for several major policy firms focused on behavioral health and public policy. That work deepened my understanding of systems, research, and how change happens at a macro level. Over time, though, I realized that while data can tell us a great deal, real change blossoms from the conversations we share. That realization, along with a growing desire to be there for people when it matters most, ultimately led me to become a therapist. Being invited into someone’s story in that way is a privilege and an honor.
Therapy should be deeply human. Before techniques or strategies, there is the therapeutic alliance between client and therapist. I strive to create a space that feels safe, collaborative, and rooted in trust. A space where you can explore your thoughts openly and at your own pace. My approach is person-centered and authentic. I bring curiosity, a steady presence, and humor into the space when it fits.
Outside of the therapy room, I’m a bit of a nerd at heart. I enjoy card games like Magic: The Gathering, video games, and board games, of course. I’m a huge Eagles fan and Philly sports fan in general. I also dabble in photography when I can, specifically astrophotography, which is about taking photos of planets, moons, galaxies, etc.
