About Me
Growing up, I loved to try new things! That continued in my career as I bounced around to new jobs and new places — from working in restaurants and schools, teaching dance and coaching sports, to later working in domestic violence, the juvenile justice system, the nonprofit world, and eventually in private practice therapy. I have lived in cities and suburbs, owned dogs and cats, and can easily fit into the crowd at a rock concert or sit comfortably listening to jazz.
I now look back and see these experiences as major influences on who I am today. Although some things have stuck around, like my love for cooking, dancing, music, and sarcasm…but most importantly, helping.
I often find myself saying, “I never thought this is where I’d be,” which has led me to embrace the moment and the unexpected. Bouncing around has finally stopped due to finding what fulfills me most — building helping relationships with others.
